Iilensi zeconvex zidla ngokusetyenziswa ekwenzeni iindondo zokukhulisa, iikhamera, neendondo zamehlo ukulungisa ukubona kude.
Iilensi zeConcave (okanye diverging).: Ezi lensi zibhityile embindini kunasemiphethweni, kwaye zenza imitha yokukhanya ehambelanayo edlula kuzo ijike ngokungathi ivela kwindawo ekugxilwe kuyo enenyani kwicala elinye lelensi. Iilensi zeconcave zidla ngokusetyenziswa ekulungiseni ukubona kufutshane.
